Matías Alpert serves as Regional Director of Digital at Ogilvy & Mather Latina. His main responsibility is to accelerate the development of the Digital offer across the region, through business, product and talent development.
Before that, Matías Alpert served as Regional Director, Latin America & Europe, Middle East & Africa, for Neo@Ogilvy. Prior roles included Regional Director for Central and Eastern Europe with Havas Media and WW Head of Strategy for Havas Media, where he led and supported new business activity for global clients and prospects. From this, Matías has a rock solid understanding of the relationship between strategic planning, measurement, buying and consumer-effective solutions. On an everyday basis, he is able to take clients beyond the outdated, industry standard of solely focusing on pricing.
Matías has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a degree in Economics and an MA in Economics with a concentration in Econometrics, from the Universidad de San Andrés, all with honors.
Though he lives in Miami, he spends most of his time on the road, a fact which is endured by his love of travel and culture. He speaks Spanish, English, Portuguese, French and Italian.
