Mark Himmelsbach is the President of Content & Social, Ogilvy North America, a new unit dedicated to creating and distributing seamless stories and conversations across channels for clients such as IBM, American Express, and Coca Cola.
Prior to Ogilvy, Mark worked at a variety of advertising and media agencies including IPG Mediabrands, BBDO, PHD, and Organic. He was a part of global teams that won Cannes Lions, Effies, Spikes, Webbies and FWAs for a variety of clients including Chrysler, Charles Schwab, AT&T, FedEx, GE, HBO, Lowe's, and Visa.
Before his career path turned towards marketing, Mark was a strategy consultant for the US Federal Government, where he worked with agencies like the US Secret Service and Department of Justice.
He holds a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
He lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife and daughter.
